okay. so, how's army life in there?

sorry guys i can't say much, cuz its against the law if i reveal and talk about the activities i participated inside the camp.

HAHA.

no, serious.

so... well. army life is, of course, tough. i mean... dude you're ENLISTING into the army and not booking in to a chalet.

but then again, it has taught me a number of stuffs, mainly discipline.

most of the stuffs we did requires huge amounts of discipline.

the physical training there is not exactly what i expected but still, it is useful. I'd like to think of it as training more on my mental strength rather than my physical strength.

well, its only been 2 weeks, but i guess i'm pretty much adjusted to the life there. my section mates have all been very fun and cooperative, hence it brings us closer together.

since the 2 weeks of confinement has been up... i can safely say next week onwards life for us will be HELL.

HELL-ISH WEEKS AHEAD.

lol. yes. don't ask me why, but that's what i think.

haha.

oh, it sucks to fall sick there. i had cough and sore throat towards the end of my book out. living hell man. especially when you go running.

well. time really files.

a moment ago i was still looking at my poly photos, how all of us used to fool around in school daily.

and now.

tml i'll be enlisting for the army, and spend 14 days in the NICE Tekong chalet... =(

sian man. must report at 08 30 at BMTC School 1. zzz. 8am must reach Pasir Ris take bus to the ferry terminal then take ferry there.

dunno what coy i will tio. probably Jaguar... Hawk coy intake is in afternoon, so maybe Sianglong will kena.

come to think of that... only Sianglong and I kena the same day for enlistment.

Soe just left for enlistment a moment ago. he's supposed to enlist today at.. 12pm? or 1pm.. haahaha.

so. let me see... what have i done for the last week of freedom. of being a civilian -_-

so....

• Monday

well. i practically slacked at home. played my guitar and watched some telly. at night went for dinner with someone really special =)

• Tuesday

ehh.. i think i slept at home all day... HAHA.

• Wednesday

didn't really do anything in the day. honestly my day activities are very... time-killing. lol. morning wake up, brush teeth, wash face, have breakfast. switch on the com. play the guitar. watched the telly.

but Wednesday night i went out with my primary school buddies. jijin, shuling and liting. jijin just POP-ed the day before, and after his 24km route march i'm surprised he still had the energy to come find us. though he's sick with sore throat and all. LOL.

so we had dinner at Sakae Sushi at Wheelock Place. after that liting had to go for work at Zouk, so the 3 of us went to this small bar, Bali House, just beside Hotel Grand Central. we wanted to go to Giraffe for drinks but we're too tired to walk to PS that area.. heh.

so Thursday was yesterday. as usual, went about my "day-time" activities. only this time i went to pack my bag. what to bring tml.

clothes for sleeping, snacks, prickly heat powder, soap, shampoo, facial wash, nail clippers, slippers, detergent, extra underwear (and i meant ALOT), medicated plaster, pen, marker.......... and the list kinda goes on.

at night finally....

I PLAYED SOCCER! for the first time in like... 2 months? omg. hahahaha.

after that i went to find soe zhang they all. FUCK MAN zhang is finally back! that stupid bitchface. disappear from us so long. go back china never contact us! finally he's back ahahahaha.




and so. today... i guess i'm just gonna stay at home and rest. sleep and cuddle on my bed if i have time. lol.

i think in terms of look, don't really give a damn. i mean, who's there to look at you in the jungle?! you don the uniform... put on the helmet... put on the camouflage make-up...

Mindef says the new combat uniform will be phased in over three years, taking into consideration the wear and tear of the serviceman's existing uniform.

So besides the recruits entering national service next year, active personnel and NSmen in their 6th and 7th In-Camp Training (ICT) years will get their new uniforms at the start of the 2009.

This will be followed in 2010, by NSmen who are in their 5th and 6th ICT years. In 2011, NSmen in their 3rd to 5th ICT years will receive the new uniform.

Unfortunately, NSmen currently in their 7th to 9th ICT years will not receive the new uniform.
