well i thought my off-day today would be sucky since most of my frens are in camp... but surprisingly.

miniwong and ek took off today too! HAHAHAHAHAW

salty smsed me early in the morning, saying we shld go check out some aerospace companies fair at expo. well i tot i could use some outdoors since staying at home i'm probably gonna be rotting so wat the heck, just go lor. even though its at the other end of singapore.

i wore my berms and shirt. which.. upon reaching there.. i kinda regretted. cuz it says there "PLEASE DRESS IN APPOPRIATE ATTIRES" and i saw most people there are at least clad in a collar tee and jeans? and me.. a SHIRT AND BERMS. how wonderful.

so me and salty went to check out the John Little expo sale and the food fair.. while waiting for EK to come from his house. ate at Burger King's. been a long time since i had fast-food man. haha.

so we went back to the exhibition area. me and EK see liao very sian. cuz we're like.. so out of place? everyone there was dressed as if they were going for business conferences and here we have a guy in a Lacoste polo tee/jeans (salty), a Cotton-on shirt/jeans (ek), and a shirt/berms (me).

just as we were about to pangseh salty and let him recee the place himself.. a whole bunch of poly students came in. some were even dressed in berms and slippers lmao. turns out they were from NP, and they have a lecturer to bring them in.

salty: EH ERIC since they also in berms.. just go in la! they dont allow you, you can argue why the other people can wear berms go in wa....

lmao so in the end.. we registered (some registration thingy) and put ourselves as NTU STUDENTS lmao!

there's nothing much to do at the fair. we were hoping to see booths explaining their area of work in the aerospace sector so we could know what companies are there and roughly what kind of work we would do if we entered the aerospace sector.

turns out its like companies selling equipment, stuffs like precision materials engineering?

so within 25mins we were out of the fair. HAHA.


then we went to city hall, raffles city shopping centre. salty wanted to check out river island, i wanted to check out topman. looking for short-sleeved shirts, but in the end i bought 2 basic ringer tees. pretty simple but looks nice. 2 for 18bucks mwahahaha. salty bought his plimsoles from riverisland. ek... did nothing but..

after that mini and kelvin came to meet us. apparently miniwong that asshole didnt answer my call for the whole afternoon, goodness who knows wth was he doing man haha. until evening. kelvin met us after his work (he's still NSF ah haven ORD!)

we just wandered aimlessly around there since we can't decide on what movie to watch, then only me salty and ek wanted to sing kbox.

drank coffee at TCC in citylink mall.

then went home -_- me mini and kelvin went to kelvin's house there eat. HAHA. actually only i ate. mini had some dimsum.

i'm eagerly waiting for my pay to come so i can buy new shirts. damnit i also need a new pair of jeans...

TOMORROW (or rather today since its 1.21am now) we're gonna hit butterfactory! like, finally man, the gang is out clubbing. but salty's leg haven fully recover.. so he can't go =(( and EK being a bitch doesnt feel like clubbing =(( so maybe benji won't come =(( ravi said he might not be free =(( THEN ONLY LEFT ME MINI KELVIN AND JASON WA LAU.

so far so good, came back from the physio in the late afternoon. did exercises for my ankle and back. my back is aching since like... i dunno man. but its just a strain so shouldn't be that bad? but my ankle is recovering. its been ages since i've played soccer man.. oh well.

saturday night is probably gonna be zouk with the poly mates. almost 2 years since we've last clubbed together man, hope its gonna be awesome. just like old times.

next week wed i'm gonna be getting my new uniform. no doubt it'll suck, but still. we don't have a choice. and i think im gonna be booking in in my civilian clothes... no longer my smart4. haha.

also wednesday there's this MINDEF Pride event thing at Toa Payoh hub. i dunno wtf that is but i'm kinda arrowed to go there... my warrant officer even made me the POC (point of contact) -_- BUT HE'S THE OPOC (overall point of contact) HAHA SO HE'S GONNA BE TAKING ALL THE SHIT.

alas none of them live in the west, so after the event i guess im gonna be making my way home alone. hmm maybe can meet kelvin, after work at novena. if the event finished before like 6?

6th june is alvinlee's 21st celebration. he booked some sort of a ballroom or something for his party. also another gathering for us sec sch mates.

the last day of my 2 days off! haha. woke up pretty late today, cuz last night i couldn't sleep till like 3am?

cheryl dragged me out (actually its like i'm willing to be dragged out LMAO) cuz she knows i'm upset with some stuffs thats been happening. yeah. haha! oh man.

we went to bugis cuz i want to get a pair of new berms. i realised my old pair of black berms is damn baggy cuz wash too many times. plus, got white stains!

BEFORE YOU GUYS THINK ANYTHING FUNNY. i got the white stains while doing my final year project, cuz of the cement thing that we used for building the airship. i squeezed the tube too hard and some of them dropped onto my pants -_-

HENCE. it cannot be washed off. damn.

i went to had lunch at bugis while she had soup. of course i had to whine and bitch to her about it. well now that i've not much people to whine and bitch to about.

i think i'm really a bad friend-shopper. she was going around looking for shoes, clothes, etc. and was asking me whether IS THIS SHOE NICE? IS THIS DRESS NICE? heh all i could do was like.. smile sheepishly and go... ERRRR.. I DUNNO? but when she was at the Men's section.. HEH HEH. cuz she was looking for shirts/tees to buy for her boyfriend. and just nice her boyfriend was around my height, if not taller, but of a bigger built than me.

i got my berms, she (almost) got a vest for herself, and she bought a mod polo-tee for her boyfriend calvin. looks real good, haha.

then i wanted to get singlet. i always wanted to get a singlet, like. heineiken beer? those type. HAHA. i was so skinny back then i was too embarrased to wear. but fuck it now la, NS man, no one gives a shit anyway. can wear to sentosa also! :D we actually walked all the way to beach road army market there for my singlet. just nice, calvin's slippers broke, and she bought him a replacement pair. after that she's off to boat quay to meet him, while i went home for dinner.

feels good to have a good friend for company, even though its just the both of us, but we were talking about how fun it was back then to be in JVS/poly. the age of like being 13-19? haha. it'll be even more fun if soe and gang were with us.

this sat is gonna be so rad. RAM's party. followed by next sat's clubbing session with mini, kelvin they all. and then next next sat's dinner, or event. alvin lee's birthday. having some GRANNNDD party in somerset hahahaha. looks like my saturday nights are gonna be much more happening now.

mini finally woke up. he finally answered our call.... to go club! i gather it'll be the week after this. in between Ram and Alvin's birthday celebration... haha. man its good to let your hair down after all the stuffs that has happened, like my high key event in camp which practically drained me out mentally. and causing me to lose sleep at night. plus with the company of them guys... things would always turn out right =)

its around 2.20am now. haha. i'm still not feeling sleepy yet. my body cycle still in day mode sia. wth!

also, miniwong is gonna have his graduation parade this friday. like, finally man, most of us are going to be sergeants. except for me, i'm still waiting for my rank to come. haha. yes, the useless soldier. =( its been a long time since i've don my battle gear and touch a rifle. goodness i think i'll exceed the time given if i were to strip a rifle now. LOL. not to mention GPMG... hahaha!

and my physical fitness is like... going down. after all, with all the on-going events in camp, i didn't have time to hit the gym, and jog. went for a jog just now at 5pm. punctured liao la. run abit cmi liao. i think i ran only like.. 2.5km? no.. i think got close to 2.8km. then all the pain come in. stitches. ankle. this that. sian.

later on i'm having my last night shift. actually i heard that they could end everything by 12am, so the night shift people no need to head back camp. but my sergeant just smsed me to come back later on -_-

having staying awake for the past 4 nights i think my body has somehow been pulled in all directions. imagine spending the night sitting in front of the computer and working. when you should be sleeping! of course i'm now very skilled in sneaking out and finding a nice place along the road to sip a cup of hot tea. its also good, i have time to recollect my thoughts, think about stuffs, enjoy the really chilling morning air. but thank god everything is gonna end soon. my life is gonna revert back to the normal working hours.

not forgetting my off-in-lieu. in fact not just 1 but i think i'll have... like 5? haha. and for the next few days i'll expect most of my bosses to take leave/off days. which means when they're not here... we can knock off early! oh well. even though most of my frens are in camp. i won't have much frens to go out with unless its on the weekend.

speaking of weekend.. this coming weekend is RAM's 21st! actually his birthday long over liao but he just wanna party the night away. how nice of him to put the party after all the nonsense in camp! HAHHAHAHA. i pray i don't get wasted that night. somehow i feel i will.

today, or rather last night was the first night of my shift. its started at 8pm and lasted all the way till this morning's 8am. i'm extremely not used to staying up the whole night and of course my sinus doesn't make things any better. i even got messed up about the dates. like, its supposed to be 15th may morning but i thought it was like, 16th may morning. haha.

its tiring yes, when i got home i took a bathe and slept all the way till 3 30pm. haha. i hope the whole thing ends earlier so we could get more rest. plus, getting stuck in camp in the wee hours, with no one to talk to except the NS Men and my warrant officers isn't exactly a good feeling. but still i get to hear the experiences of the NS Men and hear about life in the army back in the old days. this particular guy, a Commando, tells me about how tough life was back then. no such thing as welfare, and the instuctors basically treated them like dogs. everything was mostly mental torture, physical torture was only the beginning as their body got used to the tough load.

then we talked about university and stuffs. he majored in EEE back in his uni days but it was at australia. he said EEE is quite a tough subject to study as there was alot of shit to cover, but back then engineering was highly sought after. also, you could register with the Professional Board of Engineers (i think?) hence its more of a "professional engineering" kinda stuff. well. i dunno but i sure am looking forward to ORD and getting on with my life.

other than that.. well nothing much been happening man. i'm still feeling a huge tinge of regret over some stuffs. some stuffs that i told myself can't be happening. but it still happened anyway. i've been such an idiot, for far too long. been indecisive on some matters in my life, but this.. i didn't know how this painful could be. been suffocating under words of sorrow and keeping it in my heart for far too long. tearing every piece of me apart. its killing me already. but, what can i do?

the past few days and weeks have been torturing for me. been busy in camp, doing all the shit work, all the last minute changes from Boss, all the fucking meetings those officers are having, and in the end all the shit i've to do.

its always like, after we, the specs, did so much work and put in so many effort, then they decide to OKAY LET'S CHANGE THIS. and there goes everything.

argggh.

oh well its gonna end next tuesday anyway. HAHA

from tml onwards i've to take shift duties. cuz everything is gonna go running for 24 hours, hence someone must be in camp to oversee. so heng (or suay) i kena the 8pm-8am slot. the NIGHT shift. HAHAHAHA. its like, i go home, sleep, wake up at like 3, 4pm and get 3 hours to do whatever i want.

and book back in at 7 45pm.

oh well..... at least i'll get to get my off. and use them WISELY during june and july hehehehehe!

the past few weeks have been quite okay. as in, my weekends are not that wasted. i caught 2 movies i think.. wolverine with soe they all. and horsemen with miniwong kelvin they all.. wolverine was of course nice! plently of actions. and made me understand X-MEN more.
horsemen was... alright i guess...? zhang ziyi speaking in english. haha! but the ending was really, i mean, like DAMN abrupt. like you are running and suddenly you ran into a wall. go catch them, if you wanna know more.

hopefully i'll get my sergeant rank soon.. even though i will have more sai kang to do, and i have NO MEN under me... but at least the thought of the pay increment.. kinda comfort me. HAHA. oh well...

sunday was mother's day! i went out for ice cream with madeleine and pris HAHAHAHA. always so nice to hang out with both of them. even though while waiting for that maddie i spend an hour plus reading the newspaper 3times. oh well, women. you HAVE to wait. the only person i have waited for more than an hour was miniwong. I WAITED FOR THAT FUCKER FOR 2+ HOURS BACK IN SP LMAO DAMNIT. heh.

man this is damn depressing.

a whole load of shit work. funny thing is i hate staying inside an aircon room for too long. partly because i can't adapt well to cold environment. my nose will get runny after sometime. fuck.
