today, or rather last night was the first night of my shift. its started at 8pm and lasted all the way till this morning's 8am. i'm extremely not used to staying up the whole night and of course my sinus doesn't make things any better. i even got messed up about the dates. like, its supposed to be 15th may morning but i thought it was like, 16th may morning. haha.

its tiring yes, when i got home i took a bathe and slept all the way till 3 30pm. haha. i hope the whole thing ends earlier so we could get more rest. plus, getting stuck in camp in the wee hours, with no one to talk to except the NS Men and my warrant officers isn't exactly a good feeling. but still i get to hear the experiences of the NS Men and hear about life in the army back in the old days. this particular guy, a Commando, tells me about how tough life was back then. no such thing as welfare, and the instuctors basically treated them like dogs. everything was mostly mental torture, physical torture was only the beginning as their body got used to the tough load.

then we talked about university and stuffs. he majored in EEE back in his uni days but it was at australia. he said EEE is quite a tough subject to study as there was alot of shit to cover, but back then engineering was highly sought after. also, you could register with the Professional Board of Engineers (i think?) hence its more of a "professional engineering" kinda stuff. well. i dunno but i sure am looking forward to ORD and getting on with my life.

other than that.. well nothing much been happening man. i'm still feeling a huge tinge of regret over some stuffs. some stuffs that i told myself can't be happening. but it still happened anyway. i've been such an idiot, for far too long. been indecisive on some matters in my life, but this.. i didn't know how this painful could be. been suffocating under words of sorrow and keeping it in my heart for far too long. tearing every piece of me apart. its killing me already. but, what can i do?

the past few days and weeks have been torturing for me. been busy in camp, doing all the shit work, all the last minute changes from Boss, all the fucking meetings those officers are having, and in the end all the shit i've to do.

its always like, after we, the specs, did so much work and put in so many effort, then they decide to OKAY LET'S CHANGE THIS. and there goes everything.

argggh.

oh well its gonna end next tuesday anyway. HAHA

from tml onwards i've to take shift duties. cuz everything is gonna go running for 24 hours, hence someone must be in camp to oversee. so heng (or suay) i kena the 8pm-8am slot. the NIGHT shift. HAHAHAHA. its like, i go home, sleep, wake up at like 3, 4pm and get 3 hours to do whatever i want.

and book back in at 7 45pm.

oh well..... at least i'll get to get my off. and use them WISELY during june and july hehehehehe!

the past few weeks have been quite okay. as in, my weekends are not that wasted. i caught 2 movies i think.. wolverine with soe they all. and horsemen with miniwong kelvin they all.. wolverine was of course nice! plently of actions. and made me understand X-MEN more.
horsemen was... alright i guess...? zhang ziyi speaking in english. haha! but the ending was really, i mean, like DAMN abrupt. like you are running and suddenly you ran into a wall. go catch them, if you wanna know more.

hopefully i'll get my sergeant rank soon.. even though i will have more sai kang to do, and i have NO MEN under me... but at least the thought of the pay increment.. kinda comfort me. HAHA. oh well...

sunday was mother's day! i went out for ice cream with madeleine and pris HAHAHAHA. always so nice to hang out with both of them. even though while waiting for that maddie i spend an hour plus reading the newspaper 3times. oh well, women. you HAVE to wait. the only person i have waited for more than an hour was miniwong. I WAITED FOR THAT FUCKER FOR 2+ HOURS BACK IN SP LMAO DAMNIT. heh.

the 3 most retarded people in the world. especially the one with her tongue out. HAHA.

man this is damn depressing.

a whole load of shit work. funny thing is i hate staying inside an aircon room for too long. partly because i can't adapt well to cold environment. my nose will get runny after sometime. fuck.

i'm strained man, physically and mentally and emotionally.

i'm reminded, again, of how bad my hold of liqour can be. last night i was at double o with soe and his brother and their frens. just wanna chill the night out, i never thought of drinking much and stuffs.

actually clement khine soe and his frens were coming. but due to MYSTERIOUS reasons.. which i myself also dunno why, we were left with eric seo, soe, soe's brother and his frens. oh well.

that was my first time at double o too, so it was quite a new experience for me. the setting was not bad.. just that.. it looked like an army of mats invaded the place =p

so we went in. 30bucks for the entry though. it stated $15 THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT FOR LADIES.

we went in, and ordered some shots for ourselves. somehow i was brainwashed by soe to down the shots. man WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

so after 3 tequila shots... and the one deadly Barcadi 151 shot.. i was into what i call the "Cannot Make It" mode.

my body felt extremely hot. my head started to spin around. real bad.

i havent drunk so much or had such powerful shots in months man.. really man. that night my whole head was just spinning around. i'm amazed how i can help soe carry his drunk brother onto the cab, pay the cab uncle exact taxi fare, made my way up back home and bathe and sleep.

after bathing i went to sit on the sofa, it was about 4am, afterwhich i went to lie on my bed. when i opened my eyes it was already 8am O_O i didn't know 4 hours passed by in an instant.

woke up with a real bad sore throat man. i went to piss and sleep till about 10am?

damn that was one crazy ass night.


before i hit the club, saturday for me was a SUNNNY day. hit the beach at sentosa with soe, kush and khine soe. the sun was super super mercilessly hot. well at least i got my tan.

they dared me to go up to this lone angmoh girl who was sun-tanning by herself about 5m away from us. just to say HI, they claimed. go eric, go. if not don't come back you fucker.

what to do.. and it was damn damn depressing. cuz after saying hi to her, i asked her where's she from. her first reply?

the last 3 days have been exciting for me.

firstly, last saturday i went to simlim square to buy my new com. actually, the spare parts. then i went to fix them up at home.

i blew most of my HARD-EARNED army savings on this machine. HAHAHAA. and the gameplay now is SOOOOOOO smooth i run GTA4 on mostly MEDIUM and HIGH. i tried HIGH and VERY HIGH but it still doesnt run THAT smooth so.. oh well.


anyway. yesterday night... my dad opened the letter box.

in it, was a letter from NTU.

rather thin. well, here comes the rejection letter, i supposed.

i opened it up and the first word greeted me with a jolt: CONGRATULATIONS!

WTF? I'M ACCEPTED INTO NTU'S ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING?

i'm so so shell-shocked i just held the letter and read it over and over and over again. needless to say my folks and sister were happy. my mom was overjoyed. lol..

i would have never thought i stand a high chance. my GPA was 3.29, which was not here not there that kinda result.. i don't have CCA (FYI i only have 8pts during my poly years cuz its for a COMPULSORY talk).

just, WOW. i can't believe it. i'm entering a university after my ORD. mom asked me to appeal for the aerospace course. of course the chances of getting in THAT course is even lower than before cuz its quite a highly sought-after course. only advantage i have is my aerospace diploma background.

its been about 4 weeks since i got posted to my current vocation in military intel. well work was alright there, i mean come on man its not outfield everyday. haha. can't expect much, its already good enough for me.

my ankle is still abit loose and when i squat; stretch or jog long distances the strain will act up. i tried jogging the 2.4km route but i gave up after the first 2.0 km stretch. after wearing my ankle support i think it felt better. and i managed to complete the run.

well every monday wed and friday i have to go for running. actually its not neccessary, you just have to turn up earlier at around 7 20am instead of 8am and change to your PT attire. after that you can run, gym, play soccer, basketball or whatever. just to sweat it out. thing is, i've got 3 frens who play soccer there. lim, soe and htein. lim is an OOC over at Echo coy and well.. he pretty much can't get to play soccer. HAHA. soe... will always be sleeping at that time. and htein has just came back from taiwan.

so for the past 4 weeks.. been hitting the gym ALONE. most of my lunch breaks were ALONE too. cuz i prefer late lunch. and strangely all my sergeant frens skip lunch..... to sleep. HAHA.

i was from BMTC 1 Jaguar company when i was a recruit. BSLC Juilet company when i was a private (or SCT). and ASLC Charlie company when i was doing my sergeant stint. when i dropped out of course due to my ankle. and the low interest. can you imagine everyday just outfield? that would suck.

anyways. now that i'm having the 8-530 life. time to fix a new com. this saturday! finally..... well at least i'll be able to play GTA 4 and mow innocent people down. hawhawhaw KUA KUA KUA.

yes i know my life is so boring and aimless I NEED TO GET BACK TO SCHOOL SOON.
